Drawing from over a decade of expertise in digital product management and design, Andrei deconstructs technical frameworks to rebuild them as artistic narratives. Andrei’s auditory practice is equally rooted in both history and evolution. As Ez QuaTez, he was a pivotal figure in the Romanian underground hip-hop scene (1999–2005), co-founding the independent label Avangard Miuzic and the O.P.C. collective. This early dedication to independent production and lyrical architecture has since transmuted into REZQ, his latest sonic venture. Shifting focus from the verbal to the visceral, REZQ explores the weight of electronic bass and deep dubstep, constructing immersive, low-frequency environments that mirror the complexity of his visual work.

Research-driven in his approach, Andrei’s practice is further informed by his history as the co-founder of Plasma Studios. His visual language is characterized by a "pixel-perfect" rigor that dissolves into mixed-media experimentation, where generative AI and digital painting blur the boundaries of authorship and medium.
